Setup VPN on Android

VPN settings for Android

To set up a VPN on Android, you need to follow several steps in sequence. If you don't have a VPN server, you can use our list of free VPN servers.

Step 1. Open device settings

Step 2. Section «VPN»

Go to the section «VPN»

Step 3. «Add VPN profile»

Click the «Add VPN profile» button

Step 4. Come up with any name

Come up with any name and select «L2TP/IPSec» as the «connection type»

Step 5. Enter the connection parameters to VPN

Specify the server address (host or IP address), and fill in the fields «IPSec Shared Key», «Username» and «Password» (usually «vpn» is used in all cases)

Step 6. Click the «Save» button
